Company & Coverage
FAB is a specialist reinforced-concrete contractor. We deliver steel reinforcement, formwork and concrete placement and finishing for civil, water, infrastructure, industrial, marine, commercial and residential projects.
We can provide reinforcement-only or labour-only support, supply-and-place services, or a full reinforced-concrete package.
We operate across the United Kingdom from our Merseyside base. Our portfolio includes projects in England and Wales, with delivery ranging from major national infrastructure to water, industrial, coastal and commercial schemes.
FAB Formwork & Reinforcement was founded on Merseyside in 2016 by a team with deep site experience. The business has grown steadily through direct delivery, self-funded investment and repeat contractor relationships.
We work for tier-one and regional main contractors. The company profile includes work for clients such as Laing O'Rourke, A E Yates / Kier, D Morgan plc, John Kelly Construction, Williams Construction, Kiernan Construction, Thomas Contracting and Picow.

Yes. We undertake complete reinforced-concrete packages as well as defined specialist scopes. A full package brings reinforcement, formwork and concrete works together under one delivery team and one clearly agreed scope.
Supply-and-place combines the provision of the materials within the agreed scope with their installation and delivery on site. FAB's project portfolio includes supply-and-place reinforcement, formwork and concrete packages at Port Sunlight and the Hitachi Facility in Bolton.
Our experience includes formwork for foundations, bases, retaining walls, ground beams, ground-bearing slabs, lift pits, tank bases, spillways, sea walls and circular clarifiers. The exact system and delivery approach depend on the structure, programme, finish, access and wider project requirements.

Planning & Delivery
As early as possible. Access to drawings, bills of quantities, specifications and programme information helps us understand the package, consider buildability and prepare a more accurate commercial response before mobilisation.
Send the information currently available, ideally including:
- Project name and site location
- Scope of works
- Drawings and specifications
- Bill of quantities or reinforcement schedule
- Estimated quantities
- Programme and planned start date
- Preferred delivery model
- Relevant access, sequencing and site constraints
- Tender return date
If the design or scope is still developing, contact us and we can identify the information needed for the next discussion.
Yes. Early engagement is an important part of our approach. Reviewing the project information before a pour is programmed allows our team to raise practical questions, clarify scope and support planning around delivery.
Our portfolio ranges from defined labour-only and reinforcement-only scopes to major combined packages. Examples include a 60-tonne reinforcement scope at Abersoch Hotel, Spa & Apartments, a 1,250-tonne package at the HS2 M42 junction and 3,000 tonnes of reinforcement with 15,000 cubic metres of concrete at Shotton Papermill.
The right resourcing and delivery model depend on the scope, programme, location and site constraints.
Use the contact form or email us at info@fabformwork.com. Include your drawings, bill of quantities, programme and tender deadline where available.
